Cervical Screening Public Lecture Series Hosted by The Federation of Chinese Associations (VIC) Concludes Successfully.

From March to April 2025, the The Federation of Chinese Associations (VIC) (abbreviated as FCA), in collaboration with ten Chinese Community Groups, successfully held nine public lectures themed “Self-Administered Cervical Screening” across eight municipalities in Melbourne — City of Melbourne, Whitehorse, Melton, Wyndham, Casey, Kingston, Greater Dandenong, and Monash.

The series aimed to raise awareness of cervical screening within the Chinese community and help adult women of all ages to pay closer attention to their own health. Nearly 500 community members actively participated, and the events were met with widespread acclaim.

The FCA remains committed to serving the Chinese community in Victoria, promoting cultural exchange between China and Australia, and continuing to organise diverse public service activities to support the physical and mental wellbeing of community members.

Thank you to our volunteers and local councils for your support!
